[Lexington, KENTUCKY] – Alltech’s Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company has named Ken Lee as its new brewmaster. Lee has more than 20 years of experience in the brewing and distilling industry. He is a long-time member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA), Ethanol Producers and Consumers (EPAC), and American Management Association (AMA).

“We are delighted that Ken has decided to join us,” said Dr. Pearse Lyons, president and founder of Alltech.  “With Kentucky Ale as the official beer of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010, we expect a significant increase in demand for our all three of our award-winning beers as well as our newest products, Pearse Lyons Reserve malt whiskey and our bourbon. We are confident that Ken’s expertise will ensure that we meet our production goals while maintaining the superior quality that has been the trademark of our rich brewing tradition.”
